Regular Exercise Program...
A regular exercise program will give you more energy as well as slow down the
aging process. For each pound of muscle you build through exercise, your metabolism
will increase approximately 50 calories per day. By adding just 5 pounds of muscle
your body will metabolize 250 additional calories per day and 1,750 calories per
week.

Below are some of the most commonly asked questions about the Bayou Total Trainer.
If you have other questions, please call our Customer Service Department for assistance.
Q. Is the Bayou Total Trainer EASY
to assemble?
A. Absolutely! In fact, there's really no
assembly required. Just pull it out of the box, follow a few quick instructions
and you are ready to go. What's more, the Bayou Total Trainer is completely portable!
Q. How does the Bayou Total Trainer WORK?
A. The principle behind the Bayou Total Trainer
is to use your own body weight on a moving board as the resistance. So, you are
actually exercising directly against your own body weight.
Q. How often should I EXERCISE?
A. We recommend that you do your exercise
program at least three times a week. Your initial level of fitness is important
in developing an exercise program. You need to exercise hard enough to condition
your circulatory system, increase your pulse rate but not strain your heart. If
you are just starting out, you can get a good training effect with a heart rate
of 110-120 beats per minute.
Q. When is the best TIME
of day to exercise?
A. There is no "best time" but it
is important to maintain a REGULAR exercise schedule. The best way is to INCORPORATE
your exercise program into your daily routine. However, exercising right after
a heavy meal should be avoided. After a light meal, mild exercise can burn up
more calories than if you exercise later. Exercise before a meal often suppresses
the appetite. For best results, maintain a schedule and stick with it.
Q.What are the BENEFITS
of exercise?
A. Regular exercise improves both the quality
and quantity of life. The benefits of regular participation in a well-balanced
fitness program include:
- Weight loss
- Improved body shape and definition
- Increased muscle mass, strength, endurance, power and definition
- Enhanced flexibility
- Increased metabolism
- Injury prevention
- Improved self-esteem
- Improved coordination and agility
